Congratulations to our neighbors Benaroya Hall for their Open House on Sunday, October 18. Filled with art, music and community, the event culminated in a rousing free, sold out concert by popular indie folk band The Head and the Heart backed by the full Seattle Symphony. The full day of festivities was an opportunity to show off its recent $20 million refresh to its public spaces, newly renovated box office, an additional community gathering room, and new Marianna's Café (an all-day dinining destination created in partnership with Seattle chef and restaurateur Ethan Stowell and hospitality company Sodexo Live!). In his opening remarks, new Seattle Symphony & Benaroya Hall CEO Jeremy Rothman (who recently started in his role on September 1) encouraged people to visit and feel welcome at Benaroya Hall even when they don’t have a ticket to a performance.
