Music For A Cause is hosting the 13th Annual Jackson Street Jazz Festival on Saturday starting at 4:30 pm at several venues along the Jackson Street and Main Street corridor in the Central District. The festivities include the Pratt Arts Center open house.

This year's beneficiary is Wa Na Wari, the Central District house-turned-center for Black art co-founded by Inye Wokoma, Elisheba Johnson, Rachel Kessler, and Jill Freidberg on April 5, 2019.

Music for a Cause founder Eugenie Jones performs on the Bell Jackson Apartments rooftop at 7:30 pm. Sarah Shea and Chez Jazz perform also on the Bell Jackson Apartments rooftop at 5:30 pm. The Heather Ward Quartet performs at 6 pm at the Cheeky Café. Pianist Jose "Juicy" Gonzalez perform at the Casa Latina Center at 7 pm. Percussionist D'Vonne Lewis brings his quartet to Wonder Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar at 9 pm. Alex Dugdale performs at the Jackson Street Apartments Bruce Lee Lounge at 7 pm.

The Pratt open house will feature live demonstrations (bronze pour, steamroller printmaking), artmaking activities for all ages, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden.
