This monthly offering is part of a Healer in Residence program: a reimagining of the traditional artist residency that centers rest, embodiment, and nervous system care as essential cultural practices.
Led by Sylvia Hadnot of Studio S.E.E. (Sound & Energy Embodiment), each session blends gentle, accessible yoga with an immersive sound bath. The experience begins with slow, grounding movement and breathwork designed to support regulation and ease in the body, and transitions into a deeply restful soundscape using crystal singing bowls, chimes, voice, and ambient sound.
These gatherings are intentionally unhurried. The yoga is low-impact and adaptable, with options to move at your own pace or rest as needed. The sound bath invites participants to lie down or sit comfortably, allowing sound to move through the body and space without effort or expectation.
Healer in Residence honors the intersection of art and wellness, recognizing that just as artists shape how we see and feel the world, healing practices help us tend to the bodies and nervous systems that experience it.
All bodies are welcome. No prior yoga or sound bath experience is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle and dress to relax.
