ARTE NOIR presents Colored Girls for Colored Girls—Evolution of Expression, a group exhibition inspired by Ntozake Shange’s groundbreaking choreopoem for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf. Through vibrant color, collage, light, and abstraction, the artists explore identity, memory, emotion, and the multifaceted experiences of Black womanhood. The exhibition celebrates the creative voices, resilience, and cultural legacy of women in the arts.
