Daehwa, meaning “communication” or “dialogue” in Korean, explores how communication breakdowns affect human relationships. Seattle artist Ren Han combines worn and repaired textiles with sound-responsive projections to examine tension, trauma, memory, and healing. New media artist Cam Smith presents interactive work questioning how governments and corporations use artificial intelligence for exploitation and control. The exhibition is free and presented as part of the second Thursday Capitol Hill Art Walk.
