Gage Academy of Art presents Intro to Portrait Drawing, a weeklong workshop led by artist Anthony Ryder. Participants will explore the fundamentals of portrait drawing using graphite pencils, focusing on proportion, shading, contour, and the structure of the human head. Through daily demonstrations, live model drawing, and individualized instruction, students will develop their observational skills and techniques for capturing realistic form and light.
