In Between: A Cross and a Hardgrave brings two solo exhibitions by Seattle artists Tim Cross and Robert Hardgrave to AMcE Creative Arts, co-curated with Koplin Del Rio. Cross layers gouache, transferred imagery, and drawing to explore nature, built spaces, and the psychology of place. Hardgrave’s paintings and sculptures use textured concrete patch and translucent color; the show also includes two previously unseen scrolling works.
