In Horizons & On the Other Side of Landscape at Wa Na Wari, Larry Cook draws on photographs from his family archive to explore incarceration, memory, and freedom. He places landscape images within the silhouettes of incarcerated people, opening a view beyond the prison setting. The work asks viewers to see the fullness of lives and possibilities that incarceration can obscure.
