STG presents Try/Step/Trip at Kerry Hall, a powerful concept musical blending hip-hop, storytelling, and the rhythmic choreography of step. Co-created by Dahlak Brathwaite, Roberta Uno, and Toran Moore, the production follows a young Black man's journey through a court-ordered rehabilitation program as he searches for redemption and self-definition. Drawing on personal experience, folklore, and ancestral traditions, the performance explores identity, justice, and the impact of criminalization. Presented in partnership with Arte Noir, this dynamic production brings music, movement, and social commentary together in a compelling theatrical experience.
