Visions of Worldbuilding is a multimedia exhibition centering the experiences and perspectives of Black and Brown women and femmes through themes of care, motherhood, resistance, and collective healing. Featuring Monyee Chau, Marita Dingus, Adrienne Matthews, Raychelle “Ray” Ordoñez, Milvia Berenice Pacheco Salvatierra, and Mari Shibuya, the exhibition explores mothering as a powerful practice of community building and transformation. Through visual art and participatory experiences, the artists honor the often-unrecognized contributions of caregivers, elders, ancestors, and chosen families. Visitors are invited to reflect on the worlds they have inherited, the communities that sustain them, and the futures they can create together.
